I took a picture of this girl because I like how she sits by the propeller of the ship. She was taking a selfie. The memories of this ship might have been traumatic, but today, it is used by people to relax and gather around during their free time. Aljun E. Boco, 16, Abucay Bunkhouse

I saw these children by the water in Anibong. I saw that the girl was sad. I asked her if the baby was her brother. She said no, and that she was only watching over the baby. I was wondering why the mother was not taking care of her child. She left her baby with another child who also needed to be taken care of. Charleen Negosa, 18, IPI Bunkhouse

We passed by these girls on our way to the basketball court in Anibong. I took their photo because I found their smiles cute and they seemed very lively. People during that time asked, and I too asked, why it had to be us, why it had to be Tacloban. I lost trust in God in the beginning...People asked why God let this happen to us. As time went by, I realized that the Lord is still there guiding us. Charleen Negosa, 18, IPI Bunkhouse
